    How do I adjust serverside file pushing speed?

    I have a somewhat new LAN buddy here for the weekend, and I don't want to either slap my whole UT directory into his rig or manually screw with copy/pasting a bunch of stuff.

    I decided to just let my server push any needed extras to him ingame.

    However, it's ridiculously slow - slower than I've had files pushed to me over the net!

    Where do I adjust how fast my server will push files? This is on a 100 megabit LAN btw.

    Oh, I should add, I'm not running a dedicated server at the moment, just hosting from my main installation.

    From my experiance, it's always slow for some reason... no matter what and how it's being send. UNLESS you use a redirect service...

    Try http://www.unrealadmin.org/modules.php?name=uz to start. It might be using the internet to play on a LAN... but it's faster.

      You can also run a http file server int he background as your own sort of redirect service this is stil faster then the game serving the files

            nah screw it, I'll just stick with stock maps with this guy.

            All my closer friends already have everything I do, and this guy's drive is pretty full anyway.
