    Changing the language in ut04

    Hi


    "I"'ve got the following problem:

    My friend just bought ut04 and sadly he bought the german one. That wouldn'T be so bad, since he speaks german, but the german translation is not even near the english original (i guess since english is just cooler ).

    I have got the english version.

    Is there any way so I can make his ut english, including announcer and so on?

    In his ut2004.ini has he tryed changeing the language to int..

    [Engine.Engine]
    bla
    bla
    bla
    Language=int

    Not to sure about the sounds though..

      @ T@F: You mean there are german announcement sounds?

        , seemed to work. He didn'T have the time to do a full test, but the menus are english, and now he can choose the sexy announcer (you can't do that in the german version). :up:


        p.s.: great signature :haha:


        @Eclipse: At least in the german version, yes. But the were so bad, i fell of my chair of laughing when he showed them to me.

          Hmm, actually i have never heard any of the german announcement translations, could you please send me the announcement files?

          Also, i could provide the english announcement files if needed.

                Thanks for the offer, but as I said T@f's solution worked, and I also got the english one.



                Maybe I can send you the german translations, if you say me how the files are named. However, it will only be funny, if you speak german yourself! (Maybe apart from the translation from loading to ldt :weird: )
