[newbie] does the commercial DVD include the Linux version?

Howdy. I want to pick up a copy of UT2004 but the Atari site includes no details that I could find on whether the commonly available DVD version includes the Linux binaries on it or not. So do I have to find a special Linux version of the DVD or can I just walk over to London Drugs and snag the standard copy to run on my Gentoo Linux box?

C'mon Atari, you want my money or not?

    =)

As an aside, attempting to download the Linux demo from the Atari site leads to an annoying "enter your email address" page which then does not actually take you to you the demo download. I ended up grabbing it using emerge instead but thought I would mention it.

    Cheers

yes, just be sure to copy the install shell script off of the cd before you run it.. or else no unmount to stick in the second disk!

If you mount the DVD yourself instead of having the system do it. The install will work just fine.

Thanks for the tip, I'll keep it mind when I grab a copy of the game on ye olde payday.

        Cheers
