    Is this considered cheating?

I'm new to Unreal 2k4 and have noticed that on some server they run an anti cheat check. When I played Quake way back in the day I liked to change my cross hair for certian weapons. Would it be considered cheating to change the crosshairs on the sniper riffle, lightning gun, etc ? Some maps its almost impossible to see the crosshairs cause they are just a small little dot than can blend into the map at times.

If its not illegal/cheating. Can someone tell me how to change the crosshair and does anyone have a selection of crosshairs that I could choose from? Is it possible to change the crosshairs to a different one for each weapon?

no ofcouse not, since its even built into the game from standard that your able to change xhair

in your settings under weapons it can be done, for each gun, or you can make the same for every gun depending on your need,

On top of that, if you don't like the ones that come with the game you can either make your own or else download some that others have made.

IMO per- weapon xhair selection is one of the best luxury tweak- features they introduced in UT2k4.

The game doesn't like it if you change your crosshairs in the middle of a game (via console commands), but other than that, go right ahead.

I do it all the time.
