I agree 100%! I just spent $50.00 on this mouse.
You wouldn't believe all the multiple hits I get with it!

My mouse works, so I see no reason to go buy a new one. When this one dies I'll look at the new ones with like 8 buttons on them.
        Get a Razer Copperhead.

I just bought my first fancy mouse (won't state brand for fear of starting a riot, lol) last week. Hell, I played UT99 on a Mac, and never bothered to swap out the old unibutton... and I did just fine. (I used "space" for altfire, [ and ] for prev/next weapon and bound my faves... just in case some smartalec wanted to know )

A superduper mouse isn't necessary at all, it's just a nice luxury. It may track a little more accurately than a plane jane mouse (or maybe not), it might have some zany ├╝berfeature that just makes you kvell all over yourself... mostly it's the extra buttons. The extra buttons are a freakin' GODSEND. Love it, love it, love it. They make life so much easier for my left hand.

My mouse was 30 bucks US, BTW. Certainly not an outrageous price.
