After Extracting the RAR, Run the makemodall_b.bat File. Now you can Play!

Okay, do what the ReadMe says:

Unrar the Beta1 into your ut2004/ folder. This should place some 'ut40k*' files into ut2004/system/ and should also extract the ut2004/ut40k/* mod directories. Make sure you've got directories

ut2004/ut40k/ut40kinterface/classes/
ut2004/ut40k/ut40kmarines/classes/
ut2004/ut40k/ut40kmenus/classes/
ut2004/ut40k/ut40kteamgame/classes/
ut2004/ut40k/ut40kvehicles/classes/
ut2004/ut40k/ut40kweapons/classes/
Then try running the mod (you can run the 'start ut40k.bat' file in the ut40k/system/ folder).
This should just work without having to compile. I have tried it and it works on my system.

If you have problems in game (no weapons / no ut40k game types / no menus / etc) then you'll have to compile the mod.
Run the 'makemodall.bat' file in the ut40k/system/ folder.I suggest that rather than double-clicking on it in explorer,
you run it from a 'dos terminal'. Go 'start-run' and type in 'cmd'. You'll get a dos window.
Change to your ut2004/ut40k/system folder. Then type in 'makemodall.bat' and press enter. If this fails, you can
create a log file by typing 'makemodall.bat > mylog.txt'
