    Should I Upgrade?

Hey everyone i currently have a system as follows

    AMD XP 2600+
    1.5 Gig RAM
    NF2 Ultra DFI Board
    6800 GT

now it plays games pretty good but BF2 seems to kill it a little bit. So i was wondering if i would see a big diffrence going from the 2600 to a Athlon 64 3000+.

overclock your cpu to 3200+ speeds (2.2ghz - or more if you want to) and you'll have a nice bump in speed...

theres the link, do a find (ctrl+f) for the name suttonator, I believe its my second post... quite interesting discussion, but 64's are almost the same money-wise compared with XP's.

All that power needed and it still doesn't look good.

                        Memory leaks anyone?

Buy a AMD 3200..you can get them at really good prices at NewEgg. You can overclock that if you want too for even better performance.

I think you should wait for dual core procs to get a little cheaper.

I'm saving money to buy an awesome rig in 2006, i'm hoping that a new gen videocard will be avaiable when i buy my stuff.
