ESDF for the win, more buttons and binds to the left. Not to mention the locator in case you lift for any reason. The notch on the button i mean.

              E S D F

              for the win

gives you at least 1-2 more usable keys for your pinky.

I use arrows and right cntrl.

I've tried WASD, but it feels too dang awkward. My hands feel too far apart.

                          CTRL: Crouch
                          SHIFT: walk
                          Z: Use Microphone
                          ALT: Vehicle horn
                          LMB: Primary Fire
MMB (hold): Decrease FoV (good for shock combos)
                          RMB: Secondary Fire

Don't think there are any other keys worth mentioning...
And I only use EDSF coz I played Tribes 2 for years before getting UT 2004...

sry for late reply - haven't been on forums for quite awhile

yeah i ended up mapping keys in windows to the few mouse buttons that aren't recognized in game and then mapping weps to those keys.

as for the comment about mouse moving when you press a button so it makes aiming difficult.. perhaps... but then again when you are changing weps you aren't firing anyway... and yes i have jump bound to the RMB, but my middle finger is only used for jump and never leaves the key. so it doesn't cause movement at all.

if you have weps bound to keys around your movement keys... you can't exactly have full range of motion if you are lifting your fingers off movement keys to select weps.

i guess i'd rather fonk up my aiming when i don't need to aim (ie when weapon switching) than limit myself to one range of motion when movement is so important to stay alive.
