    Questions , Se7eN read this pls

    1, How high mouse smoothing should I use ? I have a bad mouse ( 400 dpi ) , I have mouse smoothing at 0.45 at the moment .

    2, I have reduce mouse laging on , I never turned it off . I have a bad computer - 1200 celeron , 128 ram , 6 gb space ( ..) , and 32 geforce 2 mx . And a mouse for 10 $ ( genious , 400 dpi , I think ) , but I play with lowest textures , normal world details , every video setting low as I can , and I never get low fps , should I try playing without reduce mouse lag ?

    3 ,How can I change my windows accel , sensitivity ?
    360 = 18 cm

    And lastly to Se7eN , do you play halo 2 , I think I saw you in ogre 1 s 42 : 0 , and in WaLKa's montage . But Im not sure , I never heard of a halo2 pro playing somethin else , except sayian playing WoW .

    Personally, I'd say none at all. A 400dpi mouse will give you coarse control, but turning on acceleration won't really make it smoother; all it'll do is delay your mousemovement to make it appear smoother.
    Also, a 400dpi mouse is coarse but it won't really hold you back. It's just uncomfortable is all.

    No harm in trying... IIRC reducing mouselag was primarily meant for people that play with VSync on anyway.

    I don't quite understand your question. If you don't have any custom mousedrivers installed (which you probably don't) UT2k4 will be unaffected by your Windows mouse settings.

        Oh sorry, that was a typo. I meant to say turning on smoothing won't really make the input of your mouse smoother. It will just smooth a bit between the signals of your mouse, but the result is that your game always lags behind your input a bit.

                Well, I guess that answers the last question in the first post. Now would someone be as kind to tell the threadstarter how to make sure VSync is off on an NVidia card? (all PCs in the room I'm in right now run on ATI cards so I have no idea)

                  just go to the performance and quality section of your Nvidia Control Panel. You will see a list of features, and one of them is Vsync.

                  There's only two options for vsync; on or off.

                  Bazza quickly deleted his post which reminded me of the third vsync option: application controlled.
                  Turn that off too, or you can't choose to have it on or off.

                  thanks bazza
