    Camera Speeds

Is it possible to speed up the camera when spectating and free moving the camera to follow anything? or to zoom in quicker?
I am curious as to how some demo movie shots can chase rockets and keep up, the only other way I can think of doing those sorts of shots is to slow the game down during play.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

Some shots are demo'ed then recreated with matinee to allow complex and quick camera movements. Everything is fitted in post-production.

GNA - The Movie, while being instagib, was made that way.

Yes, I believe the command is, in the console (press the ' key):

      setspectatespeed 3500

That may not be exact, it may be set spectatespeed 3500 or setspectatorspeed 3500 for example, I can't really remember. Highly useful on large ONS maps tho

        Code:
        setspectatespeed x
        where X is a value, e.g. 2000, 4000, 8000

        experiment

in a serverside demo if you go into your own camera view its faster than when you're playing online.
