    Can't connect to the Master-Server? Look no further!

    Hello everyone!

    Is your Master-Server down? Can't connect? Does it return a message that you can't connect? Then this is the place for you!

    Go into your .../UT2004/System folder and open your UT2004.ini with any text editor. (I recommend Notepad) Then search for this line:
    [IpDrv.MasterServerLink]

    You should see this:
    [IpDrv.MasterServerLink]
    LANPort=11777
    LANServerPort=10777
    MasterServerList=(Address="ut2004master1.epicgames .com",Port=28902)
    MasterServerList=(Address="ut2004master2.epicgames .com",Port=28902)


    Put a "!" in front of the last 2 lines and add these 2 under those:
    MasterServerList=(Address="207.135.145.6",Port=289 02)
    MasterServerList=(Address="207.135.145.7",Port=289 02)


    It should now look like this:
    [IpDrv.MasterServerLink]
    LANPort=11777
    LANServerPort=10777
    !MasterServerList=(Address="ut2004master1.epicgame s.com",Port=28902)
    !MasterServerList=(Address="ut2004master2.epicgame s.com",Port=28902)
    MasterServerList=(Address="207.135.145.6",Port=289 02)
    MasterServerList=(Address="207.135.145.7",Port=289 02)


    Save the file and load UT2004!
    If you did it correctly then you should be able to connect now.
    If you did it correctly and you CANT connect, then the server itself might be down. There is no solution for that.

          DNS issue seems to be over, no more reports in #ut. :>
          I'll bump this thread whenever i see another 100 messages about the MS in #ut while i can still connect.
