    ut2k4 error

    I get this error when I try to run ut2004

    UT2004 Build UT2004_Build_[2004-03-03_02.42]

    OS: Windows NT 6.2 (Build: 9200)
    CPU: GenuineIntel PentiumPro-class processor @ 3095 MHz with 2047MB RAM
    Video: ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO (1129)

    LockRect failed: D3DERR_DEVICELOST

    History: UD3DRenderDevice::ReadPixels <- UD3DRenderDevice::Present <- UGameEngine:raw <- UWindowsViewport::Repaint <- UWindowsClient::Tick <- ClientTick <- UGameEngine::Tick <- Level Untitled <- UpdateWorld <- MainLoop

    Can anyone tell me how to fix this please.

    Usually you can look in your log files in the System folder for errors.

    I also seen these for DeviceLost, try one of these.
    1)Try disconnecting unused USB / Firewire / third-party devices like controllers, cameras, scanners, audio interfaces etc...
    I realize this won't help if you need whatever it is you have unplugged while playing! The game is now working for me using onboard sound, instead of an external firewire device.
    2)Open UnrealTournamentSystemut2004.ini
    Enable OpenGL, by removing ";" in the OpenGL-Line and adding ";" to the start of any other of these lines.
    The Game will now be rendered with OpenGL, wich might be slower. So consider lowering your settings to get good FPS.
