    Socket attachments not showing in game UDK

    Ok so I am using UDK (not unreal engine editor 3)

    My goal is to create a dynamically active rope bridge. I understand that this is a rather complicated thing to accomplish, but I have read a few ways to go about it and have some ideas of my own. I am just having some issues with the proof of concept.

    At the moment I just have a skeletal mesh for the ropes, and I want to attach the planks using the socket manager in the skeletal mesh editor. The planks attach just fine in the skeletal mesh editor, and they animate as I had hoped they would, but when I place the skeletal mesh in the level editor the planks are not attached. Do I have to attach them manually in the level, or is there a script that I have to run?
