Built in mapvote limit

    This issue has been reported several times and dates back to UT2003.
    I could use UT2Vote but I understand it also has a limit of the number of game configs that can be present because of a 440 byte limit.
    UT2Vote can handle up to 50 Games, 50 Mutators and 255 maps per GameType + and additional 255 other Maps per GameType.
    The 440 character limit is part of the 1024 character (actual 984) and this is solved if you use bAltSwitch=True in the UT2Vote ini file.

    I think this is related to the aggregate length of the mapvote configs. I've run into the same problm but for me it was 12 lines (11 ran fine). I would venture to guess that it is related to limits on how much data UE can handle for config variables (according to sources, ~1kB) but I might be mistaken.

    Is there supposed to be a limit to the number of gametypes entries for the builtin mapvote?

    I am using the 3339 dedicated server on a windows box.

    It looks like if I have 22 entries the server will not load. If I comment out one entry, it loads just fine.

    Does not seem to relate to what gametype/mutator/options are set in the entry, only the number of entries.

    Any ideas? Here is the last few lines of the server log:
