I think this question has been asked a few times but i dont find anything.
Can anyone tell where i find a tutorial or somethink how to set up 2 servers on one maschine?
Or tell me here.

Does anyone know why multiple LAN servers each need their own IP, while multiple internet servers just need different ports?

I'd guess because they bind to 0.0.0.0 in order to catch subnet broadcasts... Never really looked into the matter though.

i thought ports weren't visible internally....i too haven't looked into much..just made the assumption.

I've run multiple LAN servers with the same IP address, just with the port address changes, no problems. I wish EPIC would use the same approch like ID did with Q3. It will automatically choose a different port address if it detects that the default one is in use. No need to remember which addresses one has setup the servers for, if running more than 2 on one machine.
