Bot range of view

Anyone know of a setting that'll adjust down bots' viewing range?

I'm sick to death of spinning around, looking for my attacker only to find it's some bot 1000 yards away with an assault rifle. I'd like them to be a myopic as I am.

Adjusting skill seems to have no effect on this.

I would imagine that all that is programmed into code and most likely cannot be changed.

I'm more pleased with them seeing me when I'm invisible .
