noob server help

i am trying to host a game in on the internet using the dedicated or listen server...

i have done so many times with a LAN setup and had no problems, but now i see my server on the master list, but can never seem to connect to it.

i have UDP ports 7777,7778,7779, and 27900 open on my dlink router
i have set the ip address to my computers ....ip 192.168.0.110.

I am not sure where to go from here as all the tutorials I see are about generating an ini file of something more complex...I just want to host a small internet game using the built in servers and I cannot figure out where to go from here...so I thought I might ask for help

is there a way to allow him acsess into my LAN setup, through the internet?

hey BP, as you know i'm trying to do the same thing. so when i connect via LAN, how can i tell (or where can i see) if i'm broadcasting my server to everybody on the WWW?

tried the hamachi thing

works great...
my brother connected via the LAN tab as well...I didn't think it would be that easy we just ran hamachi, and started unreal and right away he saw my server under Lan.

In fooling around we did both make a hamachi Lan and we both connected to each others Lan, I don't know if this is why the server was under the lan tab but it was.
