    Server keeps going offline!

    We have a dedicated box (linux i think) with multiple UT2004 game servers running. Every now and then some of those servers go offline.
    It seems to do so after the next map start when nobody is on the server.

    It goes on an endless loop and then goes offline:

    I noticed another thread about this same problem:

    but I don't understand how he fixed it. If anyone else knows please help me out.

      I have no control of the CD key. The box was given to us by our sponsor (e-frag.co.uk) with a control panel to install new ut2004 servers. From there i edit the inis and ftp access etc.
      I don't think the CD key is the problem like this guy has already found out.
      *Edit* changing the cdkey didn't work. It is very random when it happens and once it does it requires a restart of the server to get it out of the loop of failure.

      BTW, I have to restart the server via webadmin and it works again, until the same problem occurs.

        You do eventually get an MatchID, so your key is good.

        Try doing a search on RecvFrom returned SOCKET_ERROR 111. I saw lots of threads.

              How many servers are you running.
              This typically happens when you run more than one server out the same port.

                7 Servers each with a different port like 2222, 3333, 4444, up to 9999

                Also I found there was no cdkey file present, so I got one from UnrealAdmin and added them to each server. Now there is no CD Key log error, however the server does continue to go offline.

                I can still connect to these servers (from favorites browser, however it shows the ping as N/A) that have gone offline. I think they just cant connect to the master server to publish the server stats for some reason.

                      My problem from the link you posted was resolved simple by not using and admin set commands. For example "admin set pawn health 100" in turn this would set the servers cd key to a temp dev key giving me this error. This happens because epic disabled the use of set commands. Your problem appears to be different because you aren't getting DEV_CLIENT as an approval from the master server...
