Question about single player difficulty level

Dunno if this is in the right section or not, also i had a search for this through the various beginners guides/faq's etc and couldnt find anything.

I started the single player on 'skilled' difficulty level and managed to progress a fair bit, but now im stuck and keep getting my *** wooped on the assualts/CTF's. So i was wondering if theres any way to change this setting down one level - any file i could edit or something? Becuase i cant see the option to do this in the game.

Single player bots automatically adjust their skill to yours, if I'm not mistaken, so there's not much point to that. You'd better let us know what map you have trouble with. Couple of helpful tips might improve your skill more than enough.

I have the same problem - I can beat all of the single player with no problems whatseever on experienced, but when I reach Xan I get my *** kicked

That's cuz Xan is godlike no matter which difficulty you chose. Final boss blows.
