Go to BeyondUnreal FileWorks and get the Patch 3270. It includes the fixes of the previously released patches, too

which patch do i download cos there's loads.

See here under 'Patches'. Installing the patch will fix the problem with the character unlocks.
Note, that a new patch is being rumored about. I don´t know when it´ll be released or if it´s already released, so keep your eyes open.

Have you installed the latest patch? There was a bug in former versions of UT2k4 which made unlocking new characters impossible.

At the end of the game aren't you supposed to unlock Xan or something cos i've finished the game but i haven't unlocked anything. Can anyone tell me whats gone wrong.
