    Yet another maps question

    Two questions actually.

1 - Is there a place where I can download most of the custom maps? I find it a pain to have to register on some website, then go through a bunch of steps to download each and every map individually. I was hoping to find something along the lines of an FTP server or something. Can anyone help me there?

2 - When running my own server, the custom maps don't show on the list of maps I can use. Is there a way to add them in there?

    Cheers.

    1. The biggest database for Unreal maps is NaliCity. I don't know of any FTP sites.

    2. You probably have 'Official Maps Only' checked. Uncheck it.

Thanks, but that's exactly the kind of thing I was talking about. It requires me to setup a profile, then search for the maps by name, then download them one by one. I was hoping to be able to download many available maps in one or two moves instead.

Nope. I do have it unchecked, but it still only shows the original maps.

There is no other way, unless you can find "Map Packs."
Here is a link to the most common map pack currently playd (if you dont already have it)

community bonus pack 2...(vol1 and vol2)

Go to UT2003hq.com. That place is awesome.

Thanks. That's a little better, but still requires to download the maps one by one. It would still take hours to download and unzip each and every one individually. :bulb:

              Unreal Playground

There are a couple map packs, they contain some of the most used maps out there, big files with like 40 maps total.

Thats about the best your gonna beable to find. Maybe you could start a database for the rest of us?

You don't need to set up a profile to download maps from there, you only need a profile if you plan on commenting on anything.

Also, if you don't input anything into the search bar but still select a category of maps that you want, it will give you a full list of all available maps.
