Installing the game on two comps...

This may sound like a stupid question but i need to know...
I want to install ut on my second comp and i wonder weather I would still be able to play single+multi player on both or am I gonna have some limitations/problems? Btw i'm just installing the game on to comps 4 myself not breaking the law or anything...
Oh and i have patches installed so i can play without the disc, is that a factor too?

The only limitation you will encounter is you cannot play online from both computers at the same time because one of them will say 'error: CD Key invalid or already in use'

Yeah I was gonna lan my 2 comps together but now Im gonna buy the DVD version too so im able to lan them together.

Well I have managed to play online all the time with 3 comps all with same cd key and all in same server... in both 2k3 and 2k4...

Do you have a Router ? Meaning that you only use one IP out of the house ?

My son has one copy of 2004 that he has on the three computers he has networked in his house. He can play on his network with no problems. he only lets one computer play online at once because he doesnt want to risk his cd key getting banned buy the server.

I just have the one computer here in my room, so i dont have to worry about it. I just wish i could get some other fellas in this home into gaming. we could have a huge lan party. Its not like we have anything else to do. Sad that most of the other seniors are afraid of computers.

i am also able to have friends round playing ut2004 for online using 1 copy of ut2004 and 1 legit CD key

this might be ofcourse due to the "no CD patch" altho dont quote me on that
