new character in Single mode

is there a way to add more characters in single mode??

i installed the community pack and seem like all the character are available but not gothgirl

Seems to be a bot limit in SP..don't know if it can be gotten around...anyone know? As for GothGirl, she loads as Jakob for me...dunno why...despite reinstalling twice. :weird:

Open the upl for gothgirl (located in the UT2004/system folder) using notepad. Where you see Menu="", change it to Menu="SP" and save. You'll have to start a new Single player game to see her listed.

Not my thread, but thanks for the info, Jefe....edited a few of the upl's for my custom bots, but missed that one..guess this applies generally??

well i openned both xplayersL1.upl and xplayersL2.upl and i can't find the entry for gothgirl

Only works with human models and skins unfortunately.


bobinette, you're looking for CBP2_GothGirl.upl. By the way, there's no better way to get yourself kicked from online games than by modifying XplayersL1 or XplayersL2. Leave those two alone. All other UPLs can be changed safely.
