    I just came across this game on my roommate's computer, and I can't figure out how to pick up items.

    wuh wuh wait, this game as in UT2004, and you cant....pick up.....items....:weird:...

    you walk over them, just step on em and they're yours....

    cant pick up items...

    EDIT: why are you playing on your roomates computer anyway, your gonna get a beat down

      Thank you. I've never really heard of this game, I was just looking for some type of game to play on my roommates computer, and I came across this game. I looked through the game controls and what not, and there was no cd case, so I was just trying to figure out how to play. Thank you.

        alright all sarcastic mean comments aside, it is true that UT doesn't have a great manual for it, well, least not an easily findable one, so i can understand why they have an entire beginners discussion, its just funny, cant pick up items :haha:

          No, the manual that came with the game is incredibly detailed to include background information not even essential to the controls etc.

              true, but it doesn't really tell you how to bind, download, and do a bunch of other pretty important things, thats what discusion is for

                True, but i think if it added all that other information it would be overwhelming and ppl would not read it there fore missing the basics.
