Play with full version vs demo version

Hi.
I got the DVD version and I was wondering if it was possible to play on a LAN with people with only the Demo. I tryed and it says that their version is pastdated. So if there a way to play?

Re-install the demo version yourself. That'll do it.

yea, I thought of that. But it not much fun to play the demo when you have the full version

Well would anyone know how to look to see what the version of the demo is?

If all they have is the demo, they're only going to be able to play with other demo people. That's a deliberate separation of versions to break compatability.

Get them to buy the full version or play a whole lot of Rankin and Torlan.

The demo doesnt have the same fetures as the full game so its normal but yeahd there would be a very small possibility that they made the full version compatible with demo.. but NO..


Note that a ut2003 game can be joinded by ut 2004 tho

yea. Well he does not have the demo. He's thinking about buying the full version thought. I guess he'll have too I mean, who would not want to play this awesome game?
