How to make Mantra hover higher? I crash into hills all the time

What am i doing wrong?

it always hovers at the same height.....you can "jump" by pressing the ctrl button. It's useful for going over hills and dodging fire

Actually, you jump the Manta by hitting whatever key you assign to jump normally (space bar by default). You can also bring it down closer to the ground by hitting your crouch button.

I guess you want to fly higher for avoiding fires.

As the people told it's not quite efficient to fly higher though
you can by pressing the jump button many times, then it will drop down to a certain height very quickly.


Actually the craft can avoid fires with its speed. Just move forward or backwards with your mouse as steering and the craft
will move very fast and it's real hard for people to aim and fire you, and fires can then be avoided.
