I'm not too great at that. It's funny you mention it, cause I was thinking about that right before reading this...lol.

Basically a load screen that shows the Level Preview and map description That would be much cooler than a static image.

There was a nice GUI mod by hellcat that let you make custom GUI's (I made a few myself.) Main problem was that AntiTCC booted you if you used one.

I don't have the original zips, but I *think* all that was required was a copy of the ini file and the texture pack. If so, I should be able to upload it.

You can tweak the GUI in TCs, although I'm not very familiar with that. You could technically create a TC that would use everything from the main UT2004 and would just have a different GUI.
