I was wondering I can recognize a server were real people play and one were bots play.

Not easily, because many servers run "ServerBots2" mutator & it enables a fake 'ping' value to be displayed for each bot.

I've also noticed that on (some?) servers, bot names appear in yellow, like spectator names do.

Hmm, I interpreted the question

in terms of glancing at servers listed in the browser.

I'll stick with my "there's no surefire way to tell" observation.

LOL, Once I met a guy on a server with a ping of 0, but he was just a person. We had no special bot mutators on the server, cause we dont like bots on it. What could be wrong with the guy?

Could be. But this server was Dedicated..

If someone hosts a Listen server, his ping will always be 0
If someone hosts a Dedicated server, his ping will be not 0
