totally agree i couldn't contact the author of UCMP-Immortalis

but it tried and included everything in the read-me and they said it would be all right

a lot of the ucmp uthors are hard to contact aswell and you might not be able to reach them

That may be the case, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't try.

normally id give you the gameservers redirect link, but as that's down i'm not sure of best place.. you could install all the extra official packs the Community bonus packs etc

You're forgetting something important. You should have permission from the map authors to use custom textures. Sometimes it is given in the map readme, but more often than not, you must contact the author to get permission.

import them and use them.

Does anyone know where I can find more textures to use for my maps. I will eventually make my own, but for now would like to come up with some more other than the vanilla set that comes with the game.
