2 noob Qs about console and Friend or Foe

Thanks to those who'll take the time to answer these...

1: how do i get to the console??? I assigned a key to the console but it does nothing, it doesn't bring the console at all. Of course first I had tried the usual key above the TAB key. Please enlighten me I'd like to see my FPS.

2: While playing, there is a triangle above allied. It's either blue or red depending on your team but sometimes it's GREEN, what does that mean???

3. How can I recognize an ennemy vehicule from afar? Sometimes I don't know if there is someone inside it or not. And even when it's a friendly tank, the triangle is so small it's hard to see.

ps: refresh rate setting should be easily configurable, I just exploded my eyes at 60hz before I noticed UT didn't take my maximum refresh rate like other games do! Happily I could figure out the ini file.

i dont know about the other two problems, but when you have a green triangle above your teammate, it means that they are using a link gun and that you can link up with them

try the ' key, i.e. the @ key without <shift>, that is on a UK keyboard at least.

I ended up trying everything single key and it was the console key was: "ù", just right next to the M on my azerty french keyboard. Weird that the input setting did nothing, beta i guess.

I guess you have to check for the triangle. I think it will not be displayed if no one is in it. However you can&#180;t damage the vehicles of your own team, (at least with friendly fire turned off, see server options) so shoot first ask later .

Just played a few rounds of Onslaught. If there&#180;s is a triangle above it, it belongs to your team and a team-mate is in it. If it belongs to your team and there is no one in it you will the 'health bar' of the vehicle (green-red). In every other case destroy it or hijack it.
