Any hints about assault (how to play)

Never played it before.. but i guess i should
So how do i play it? I mean like i'm attacking and i get to the point i need, but nothing happens.. i guess i should press some buttons or what ?

If u got u still got ur first settings it should go by pressing 'e', but 'enter' is also good.

Maybe you need to ATTACK the objective point? Like the mothership's shield generators in AS-Mothership.
