****, it can't be that hard to host an online game, I mean, I host alot of lan games, and it's not hard. Fallow the glowing pink arrows or some ****. :sour:

legacy-Metalluca repliedOK...seriously now....I've enver done it personally since I have satelite internet and that SUCKS for gaming (3 second delay), but I do know this. When you start a match, the information on the match is sent to a master GameSpy server, so as long as you don't have the "LAN" option checked off in the server settings, I'd assume that anyone desiring to join your match would from that point on, as long as there was actively a match running.

First timer trying to host game
Noob here,
I am for the first time trying to set up hosting an online game and I'm having lots of problems...Is there a link that gives you step by step instructions? I have mods and maps but cannot find one source to help get everything set up properly. Anyone have a guiding hand? I've searched the forums but found nothing that leads you thru the process. Any help is much appreciated!!:bulb:Tags: None
