    It's cheap enough just to buy a version for each computer. Then you can play out side your lan or hold an awsome lan party.

    When you install it on one computer, that key is set for that computer, and for the player using that key at that computer. The key can really only be used once online at a time, it's to help prevent widespread piracy. On a lan game, however, I'm not sure.
