Sigh. Maybe your right... Look if anyone is willing to let a sorry player like me into a clan for lessons I wouldn't mind... I can't play every night because I got a family to raise... But I DO want to learn the basics one on one if possible...

Tip but don't let it take over your life , i see you have a family to raise , belive me it can become addictive to the point you have no care for other around you , i lost alot through this game .

Perhaps you should try other servers? Maybe the places your playing are just too "leet" for your skill level right now?
I've been online since the game came out, and there are servers I avoid like the plague for either bad sportsmanship, or such "leet" regulars that there is no chance of me even getting a kill!Comment

I too just started playing on line and yes many players are really good and difficult to beat. However I have found that some will ease up on you when they realize you are a noob, they know. I was getting clobbered in a one on one and went for just one kill, I got it. That was a mini victory and the other player told me good game. It is only a game, lot's fun, if you play you can get better and remember it really takes the wind out of a leet player to be killed, if only once by a noob.Comment

Yeh m8, just keep at it. If you see some good players, ask them waht irc #chan they hang out in. Most clans have a channel and they're always up for p1mping them a bit
If you start idling while ur surfing, then you'll get to know some of the more experienced guys, and they'll more than likely take u under their wing, and show you some tips n tricks, even if they don't actually ask u to join their clan
But as stated b4, it IS just a game, so don't fret over it too much, and try to enjoy it

If your constantly getting a beating and find it hard to get only a few frags then your in the wrong server. Find a server of your skill level - you'll enjoy it alot more and you'll be able to improve slowly over time.
Oh and ignore *******s that dish out all the stupid "omfg fu n00b flak spammer" comments.Comment
