Shooting off one more than i need its left there lying on the floor blinking away; further reading tells me that if the disc is destroyed translocating back to it means instant frag for the player that destroyed it. Back to the plot; I dont know exactly how but i switched to the sheild gun : Right clicking on or pressing the second firing button brings out a green foreground surrounding that player, the view is changed to first person. WHAT IS THAT? More to the point can i use it to cause some serious damage to my opponents. How am i doing so far.

suggestion: keep the nails short to prevent accidental keystrokes

All about stragety. It is used several different ways to your advantage, you just have to figure out how it works best for you

Hmm, wonder what would happen if you could shoot two transloators at once? Would it be Unreal Cloning?
Respawning technology at work. That's why people always spawn with a translocator effect, after all.

On large maps its good for travel..

Its good to teleport inside another player to kill them.

You dont get an instant frag, its only if someone tries to teleport after its destroyed, reseting fixes it.

The green view is a camera in the teleporter. Good from seeing whats around the next courner.

Its just as usefull as any other weapon depending on the situation....
