Sniper Rifle in 2003

Does the sniper rifle exist in 2003 ?

According to the manual in game tips, it says 'the Falk cannon is great in close quarters while the zoom of the sniper rifle makes it the ultimate long-range gun'

No pictures exist in the manual and i have not come across one in the game yet, so what gives ?

sniper rifle = lightning gun

Well, on some servers you use a ordenary gun (like M16). Thats not in the manual.

You mean the AR-770, the assault rifle? Or are you refering to a mod?

There is a zark rifle mode that mimics the UT99 sniper rifle pretty well. It is included in some map packs as a weapon too!

Its a uk server but we get some excellant pings in there...
