Hey, is this forum like the Atari one, where one can get their own custom avatar and status after 50 posts?

Nope, you can't have a custom avatar here, but one thing I know is that you becomme a member after 30 posts instead of a junior member. I still have 9 to go.

I recognize people by their avatar, not their name.

I don't see any reason why there wouldn't be custom avatars.
