Run and Look?

I'm New to UR2004.

The problem i'm having is that while i'm running *Forward)the view keeps centering.
I can't run and look up or down or side to side....

Is this normal? Or is there a setting to change this?

Do you have the latest patch if not get it!! Im going to take some time and review some of the .inis in the system folder of the game to see if somthing pretains to that:up:

Ok, this is what ive found so far(Have no clue if it will help,sry:cry: :weird: :up: )

In the user.ini scrol through or search until you find these=
if they are set to true set them to false(by typeing false)

bLookUpStairs=
bSnapToLevel=
bAlwaysLevel=

if these dont work cry out in anger and then post again, if they do then post again otherwise so i know how you did with it!!:up:

Go to settings and find 'autoslope' if its checked, uncheck it. that might be your problom.

Make sure free view or free mouse is ticked, not sure which one it is, but that setting keeps it centering.
