Bump......Slight problem though......

The movie ive just dumpframed and made an avi is like 190mb, so I expected it to run very smoothly. Instead, it ran at about 20ish fps and and hogged all of my CPU. Anyway you could make a Compression Tutorial?

Fraps is giving me 20 fps :/

The only thing is, the sound is gone when you use it..
Is there any way to solve the problem?

Or, when putting a song under it, is good either?
I think that its stupid to see kills without any weapon/hit sounds...

Or am I wrong?

Fraps isn't good for Video creating because of 1. Adverts, 2. Quality, 3. FPS.
Dumpframes doesn't record sound, as it only Dumps the Frames. But honestly. When you watch a movie, you can't hear all sounds. That's because in professional video creators export the sounds using Ued. I may Add that soon

A short explanation: Load up Ued, go to the sound browser, open the package, and select the sound you want to export. Select "File" --> "Export" (as WAV).

You should be able to figure it out. If not, i'll make a better explanation soon

Uhm, Fraps is fine for me. Just put your settings at 640x480 or 800x600 and settings mid ish. The quality is perfect check my post in eviLs video compression tutorial. Though if your quite serious about a fragmovie, I would use dumpframes start | fixedfps 30.

rofl, I thought my dumpframe movie was 277 kb, till i discovered it was 270 MB :bulb:

Dumpframes uses TONNS of space. Moviemaking in general does that

I recored 3 nice kills out of a demo file with dumpframes...
I compressed them the way you described in your tutorial, with XviD..

All together 16 seconds, but its 17MB...

Is that normal?
