    Wierd error

    Hi, I keep getting this error message:

    UT2004 Build UT2004_Build_[2004-09-21_19.13]

    OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
    CPU: GenuineIntel Unknown processor @ 1488 MHz with 639MB RAM
    Video: No Video

    Can't find file for package 'D3D9Drv'

    History: UObject::SafeLoadError <- UObject::StaticLoadClass <- UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine <- FMallocWindows::Free <- FMallocWindows::Free

    What does this mean?

    And also, when it loads up (unexpectedly) i have to face tearing. Now this is really annoying me as I have set all the setting the same as my normal settings. I use a 1024 x 768 resolution, yet I set UT's resolution at 640 x 480, as this eliminates a lot of online lag for some reason. I have tried using every render device UT lets me use. For a short period, OpenGL worked the best, but after about a minute, there was more tearing than ever. I couldn't see the red team tower because a big orange streak with a white blob had appeared! Could someone HELP ME !!!:cry:

      It couldn't find the DirectX component Direct 3D...

      not only do you need to re-install your graphic drivers, but DirectX as well... (at least 9.0b but preferably 9.0c) 9.0b is included on the DVD
