Hey fellow developers!
You may have noticed a few changes to the Epic Games website over the past few weeks and you can expect more to come in the future. As Unreal Engine evolves, we are wanting to sunset the UDK forums here on forums.epicgames.com and bring the entire Unreal Engine community together at forums.unrealengine.com, where the UE4 forums reside.
As you know, Unreal Engine 4 was made free for everyone earlier this year, however, we wanted to make sure that any active discussions for those developing in UDK can continue, as we know there are a number you that remain passionate about the toolset.
What does this mean for you?
But what will happen to these threads?
So when is this going to happen?
But what about my badges?
Where do we post new threads for UDK?
While you are there, feel free to dive in with any UE4 related questions in the other sections provided. The community is rather supportive and ready to chat with you all.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask! We will be moving important stickies over, but if you have any special requests, let me know.
Thanks everyone, and happy development!

This will get you access to the forums, UE4 AnswerHub, UE4 wiki and the Epic Games Launcher. A large number of you have accounts on the new site, so no action is required on your end.
But what will happen to these threads?
Do not worry! All of the existing threads here will be archived for future viewing, though we will not be taking up any new discussions for UDK here.
So when is this going to happen?
We plan on turning the UDK forums off at the end of 2015. This should allow you enough time to wrap any conversation and move new discussions over to the new forums.
But what about my badges?
We will be transferring all user rank / badge information over as appropriate. It may take some time to match everything up, but it is something we know we need to approach
Where do we post new threads for UDK?
