Added editor side OBJ command SETARCHETYPE with object parameters SETOBJ= and NEWARCHETYPE=.
    How does that work?
    Thanks,

It was written in earlier posts.... it means that you can compile the full engine via vs 2012, doesnt matter for udk users.

Really great to get this at the same time with blender2.7rc
btw what vs2012 supporting means...? I'm using a non-vs editor

    I bet it's like the:

    Core
Added Creation Script for the Update Crashes By Pattern Stored Procedure
Updated db create script to reflect changes needed for recent features
it's not relevant for UDK users.
that could be great to have a update of the main post with a "*" on topic that are relevant for UE3 owner only.

I believe it shouldn't be in there.

UDK doesn't support Visual Studio. UE3 would need it in order to compile, but that's irrelevant for UDK users.

    Then what that means?

Udk doesn't have any Visual Studio support, and never had. Those programs like nfringe are 3rd party.

Please tell anyone what kind of support of Visual Studio 2012, as mentioned, has this february 2014 UDK release?

    @ Chosker:
First question = YES; Second question = NO.
I am sure what I reported here will be sufficient in terms of porting directory from one version to 2014 release ( in my case), it seems the new release need adjustments for most users based on new threads already out there.
Thanks for your suggestions. I decided to uninstall 2014 and re-install July,2013, because of the crashing right after 2014 was installed. There is a possibility "Windows 8.1 Pro" could be part of the strange happenings. Recommended for Content Development:Windows 7 64-bit.

    HI

I installed the Feb 2014 update today & diffed the entire code base & ini files - can someone provide more information on the following please:

In BaseLightmass.ini a new entry "NumTexelsToExpandLightmapEdge=1" has been added. What exactly does this do? Will this help alleviate all the problems people have with light map seams?

SystemSettings.ini files have entries on the mobile devices for "MemoryDetailMode=<some num>" - what is this/what does it do?

SystemSettings.ini files also has new entries on mobile devices for "ShadowQualityOverride=<some num> - what is this/what does it do?

    Cheers
    William

the log seems too clean. you sure this is what's shown in the log after getting the error?
and now asking it as an actual question. did you place something from a map-package into this other map?

btw we'd be better off trying to solve this in a different thread

    Thanks for the update

everything works fine and now feb.2014 version says NO!?. Any suggestions why this warning pops up?. I went ahead and clicked "Yes". Will this be an issue down the road?.
either you're missing some packages, or you've placed stuff that exists in a map-package. check the log by executing the editor with -log (errors will appear in red) or go to View - Browser Windows - Log, and see what the log has to say about it
