It is very frustrating that we are forced on a new UDK version where mandatory stuff are broken. Epic, can't you somehow release a separate software which does the mandatory iOS 7 build without having us to upgrade UDK?
We have been working a loong time with our project, and will release in a few months. However, we won't release without features like icloud, so if such features (which were there previously) still are broken at that time, we will be in economical trouble.
Please let us know whether you will release a new version which fix those newly broken stuff mentioned in this thread soon, or if we have to wait a half year. If we knew, we could at least plan accordingly.
Many thanks zombieBear! With all of the web change and things i really lost sight of where is everything, but is coming together now.Im sorry to aske this(it was probably asked)But is udk going to continue to have updates ore is this the last one will see?
There will still be some updates for bug fixes and we are still working on the iOS issues that have sprung up, however we are focusing a lot of our efforts on Unreal Engine 4, currently.
So......couple issues I've encountered with UDK recently:
1. Kismet "Set Physics" node: If I try changing an interp actor over to a rigid body, this no longer seems to work (it definitely did for me once upon a time)
2. Kismet "Set Sound Mode" node: If I fire the "Start" input, the sounds (in my case, gamemusic) stops as I intended. HOWEVER, once I fire the "Stop" input, the sound mode does not stop (my gamemusic does NOT come back in as expected)
