      THANK YOU SOO MUCH.

can I make games with friends without that Preforce" thing ?

NOTE: if you have windows vista 32 bit I recommend you try 2012 version of udk it might save alot of time but it worked for me.

yay, I'm glad you got it going man, have fun with it and don't give up if you get stuck, just read through the UDN and most of your questions can have answers in there

Glad you got it working!. Now enjoy UDK!!

As CloDel Studios suggested go through UDN as it covers important topics. Dont forget to visit UDN Gems: http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/DevelopmentKitGems.html

Looking at my other experiences with other engines, it looks that UDK is dying. I hope not! But that is what is looking right now.

                  How is it dying?

udk 3 development is deff slowing to a crawl.
i imagine no further development once ue4 (udk4?) is out.
i too have seen other engines 'die' in this way

i think that the real question is: if udk based on ue3 really "dies" we can still make commercial games with it ?

eventually all the community will change to the new "udk4", but we will still have a "udk" section on the forum ?

Wow, just tested for that memory leak thing and it's there. Really hope there's a new UDK ver coming, and soon.
