Thank you so much Epic Games, really glad to see this happen. Can't wait to see the new improvements of the engine at the GDC, although won't be attending since I'm in Australia, I'm sure there will be tons footage.

Great job Epic!!! Keep up the good work we all enjoy and love.

        This is great and wonderful!

I'm sure this will pay off very will in the future. You'll most certainly gain a lot of loyalty with the up coming generation of game designers.

I know I'm hooked... Now to make that first 50K...

This will be helpful to a lot of independent studios as they can now afford to rent office rooms and dedicated development PCs, hire paid contractors, afford additional promotion after the game is out and rent more servers for multiplayer games and gain a bit for themselves.
It's good to be able to collect enough money for these goals first and not to be so tight between loss and the limit.

I agree. Epic is such a great company, they raise royalty limit and don't afraid of anything.

Selling games in retail boxes isn't within easy reach of most start-up and indie developers.
                I love you. No homo.
