Having A problem with the Preview window controls in the UDK Editor

basically im trying to create a level to complete my college course and im finding that in the preview window the controls for WASD that should be:

forward:W
Backward: S
Left: A
Right : D

have become

forward
Backward: A
Left: W
Right : S

how do i correct this problem?
