Mirror movement of meshes

JUGGERNUT repliedWell obviously it won't stay one mesh, but with code it is possible and not too insane, minus the fact you might be spawning a huge amount of "mirrored" meshes. It depends on when you want this to be triggered and on what as well....

Chay Hawk repliedI just wan it for meshes, its a feature in modeling programs, where it mirrors what you do with a part on the opposite side.

Henrik repliedactually just for regular mesh movement it shouldn't be that difficult. if dealing with bones then you would have to program it to swap the bone names and reverse the values on one axis.

Henrik repliedhm you could probably accomplish it somehow with kismet or code but it would be difficult. I don't think there is any such "feature" by default.

Ok i was wondering if UDK had a feature where if you move one mesh it will create a copy of it and move it in the opposite direction of the one your moving, i hope someone knows what im talking about.Tags: None
