In addition to those tips, make sure the texture you import is RGB Color. CMYK/Grayscale are not supported.

If it's targa, make sure it's either 24-bit for regular images or 32-bit if it has an alpha channel.

Well the file is 512x512, its a tga file, and its size is 512 KB. I named a short name of sky because I'm trying to make a sky texture. I will try to make it a png file to import and see if that works.

I know this is slightly offtopic, but I am wondering what made you write 509

    509?

I thought it only allowed 8,16,32,64,128,256,1024,2048 etc?
    so 509*509 shouldve been 512*512

-how big is the file size of the texture?
-image size? e.g change it to 512x512
-import it as a png file
-rename it, probably udk doesnt support the name of the texture

My texture won't import into UDK

I tried to import a tga file that I created in Photoshop and every time I try it, UDK crashes on its self. I tried other tga files and they work fine but this one always crashes UDK. Can anyone please help me with this?
Working...
