My texture won't import into UDK

ryanjon2040 repliedIn addition to those tips, make sure the texture you import is RGB Color. CMYK/Grayscale are not supported.

darthviper107 repliedIf it's targa, make sure it's either 24-bit for regular images or 32-bit if it has an alpha channel.

Gamergirl26 repliedWell the file is 512x512, its a tga file, and its size is 512 KB. I named a short name of sky because I'm trying to make a sky texture. I will try to make it a png file to import and see if that works.

I thought it only allowed 8,16,32,64,128,256,1024,2048 etc?
so 509*509 shouldve been 512*512

-image size? e.g change it to 512x512
-import it as a png file
-rename it, probably udk doesnt support the name of the texture

I tried to import a tga file that I created in Photoshop and every time I try it, UDK crashes on its self. I tried other tga files and they work fine but this one always crashes UDK. Can anyone please help me with this?Tags: None
