    Importing Fonts without Alpha?

I want a font in UDK that is a white character with a black outline. Whenever I import a font like this into UDK however, the white interior is always transparent when I try to use canvas to draw text on the screen. I've played around with many of the different settings on import (and many different types of fonts) and have had no luck.

Is there an easy way to just tell UDK, "Don't make anything transparent"? Or is there a better way to do what I'm trying to do?

If you don't make anything transparent then you'll just get white blocks for each letter. What you need to do, is after you've imported the font, you can export out the images and edit each glyph using a image editing program. Then you reimport the images and you're done. Check the UDN for more details.
