I don't think that's the same thing as what is going to be in UDK4, I believe that only works on flat surfaces and doesn't include dynamic objects in the reflection since the reflecting objects are pre-rendered.

He accidentally put an https rather than an http in the URL. It should work fine for you now.

I do believe you probably could get this kind of level of detail using the Dx11 pipeline in UDK.

How do you do screen space reflections with UDK?

UDK DX11 can probably achieve the same level of detail as it can do both high quality dynamic lighting and screen space reflections.

However, with that being said, while it is possible; it may be more difficult as the tool chain may not provide enough flexibility.

It's not so much the level of detail, things like DX11 can help with that which UDK already supports. Most of the time people don't put in enough work on graphics to get it to that level. I think UDK can get pretty close, but there are some things that it can't do like the high quality dynamic lighting and reflections. Remember the Samaritan demo that was done with UDK.

this "game" (if realtime) looks like FF advent children, currently udk can not do this level of detail at any reasonable framerate, or at least no one has made a game that runs well with this level of detail,if hugh dev studios havn't done it, doubtful anyone wiht udk would be able to, most great looking UDK games are at best only on par with what AAA titles look like, infitrator is some next level stuff.

The lighting is going to be the biggest difference. Probably a lot for dynamic objects and a different kind of reflection technique that would work well on curved surfaces.

    UE4 lighting/material - UDK question

    Hey everyone,

I just had a quick question. Would it be possible to make the same lighting/shaders that
"infiltrator" have in the current UDK or it is just a UE4 feature?

Working...
